Platform Makers
Project Overview
For Platform Makers, we created two animated films about the value and importance of copyright for creators.
The first film explores copyright as a form of ownership, while the second focuses on how creators should be able to share in the revenues generated by their work.
Through clear visual storytelling, the films translate these complex legal and economic principles into accessible stories, helping explain why copyright matters and how it contributes to a fairer position for creators.

First Sketches
The concept for these animations was collage-based from the start. I wanted to use oversized floating objects to emphasize the subjects being explained.
Character Development
Characters were an important part of the animations. Since we decided not to use realistic characters, we replaced their heads with objects that symbolized their roles. For example, the painter has a palette for a head, the photographer a camera, and the buyer a wallet.
